Paint shop cleaning with ultra-high-pressure water and dry ice

We clean wet-paint and powder coating plants from end to end: booths, painting robots, conveyor and process technology, gratings, wash-out systems and exhaust air. Scheduled around your shutdowns, fully documented and with proper disposal as a certified specialist company under the German Water Resources Act (WHG).

Paint Shop Cleaning

Your benefits

Why wunderbar for your paint shop

Every speck of dust and every build-up of paint in the plant can turn into a paint defect. Clogged gratings and ducts disrupt the airflow, and overspray on robots and conveyors costs availability. We return your paint shop to its target condition, using the process that suits the component and the contamination.

  • The entire plant from a single source: booth, robots, conveyors, gratings, wash-out and exhaust air
  • Ultra-high-pressure water up to 2,500 bar for paint build-up, dry ice for robots and electrics
  • Water and paint sludge disposed of properly, as a certified WHG specialist company
  • Cleaning scheduled around your shutdown and maintenance windows
  • Documentation with photos and a report for your quality assurance

Scope of services

What we clean in your paint shop

From the booth wall to the exhaust duct: we clean every area where overspray, paint residue and dust accumulate.

Booths and paint mixing room

Walls, ceilings, floors and filter areas in spray booths, ovens and paint mixing rooms — for a dust-free environment and even airflow.

Painting robots and application technology

We gently remove overspray from robot arms, axes and atomisers. With dry ice, even where electrics and sensors cannot tolerate water.

Conveyor and process technology

We clean skids, hangers, chains, rails and gratings on site or dismantled. Heavily coated parts are stripped back to the base material with ultra-high-pressure water.

Wash-out, tanks and exhaust air

Wet scrubbers, coagulation and sludge tanks, ducts and exhaust stacks. We dispose of paint sludge and waste water properly in line with the Water Resources Act.

The right process for every layer of paint

Processes

The right process for every layer of paint

Fresh overspray, years of paint build-up or sludge in the tank each call for a different process. For thick layers of paint on gratings, skids and hangers we use ultra-high-pressure water up to 2,500 bar. The water removes the paint through its energy alone — without chemicals and without heating the component.

On robots, electrics and sensitive surfaces we work with dry ice: residue-free and without water. Booth surfaces and filter areas are cleaned by hand. That way, every area gets the process that cleans it thoroughly and gently.

FAQ

Questions about paint shop cleaning

The essentials of cleaning paint shops, spray booths and conveyor technology.

Which paint shops do you clean?
Wet-paint and powder coating plants, from a single spray booth to a complete paint line with robots, ovens and conveyors. Typical sites are the automotive and supplier industry, mechanical engineering and contract coaters.
How often should a paint shop be cleaned?
That depends on throughput, paint system and quality requirements. Many plants combine ongoing maintenance cleaning with a deep clean during maintenance or shutdown periods. We work with you to draw up a cleaning schedule with fixed intervals.
Does production have to stop for cleaning?
For a deep clean, yes — which is why we schedule it in your shutdown or maintenance windows. Individual parts such as gratings, skids or hangers can be removed and cleaned separately.
What happens to paint sludge and waste water?
We extract water and paint sludge directly. As a certified specialist company under the Water Resources Act, we dispose of the residues properly and document where they go.
How does this differ from paint stripping?
Paint shop cleaning means we clean your plant on site. Paint stripping means we remove paint completely from individual parts such as racks, skids or gratings. The two can be combined: we strip heavily coated parts while we clean the booth.
