Dry ice blasting for industrial cleaning

Cleaning without water, chemicals or dismantling: CO₂ pellets sublimate at −79 °C and lift contamination residue-free — gentle on machines and electronics.

Dry Ice Blasting

Your benefits

Why wunderbar for your dry ice cleaning

Dry ice blasting is one of the gentlest cleaning methods there is. The CO₂ pellets penetrate the layer of dirt, sublimate abruptly and blast it off the substrate. No blasting media, no water and no abrasion are left behind — so we can safely clean installed equipment and electronics too.

  • Residue-free: the CO₂ sublimates completely, no follow-up cleaning needed
  • Non-abrasive and gentle on materials, even on sensitive surfaces
  • No dismantling required, possible during ongoing operation — reducing downtime
  • Trained specialists and documented execution

Process

Dry ice cleaning, step by step

Our process is structured and documented: we prepare the job, blast with precision and check the result.

  1. 01

    Analysis and planning

We assess equipment, material and contamination and plan the job around your operations, including protection of adjacent areas.

  2. 02

    Blasting on site

Dry ice blasting is carried out precisely and without dismantling — on request during ongoing operation, without interrupting your production.

  3. 03

    Inspection and documentation

We check the result and document the work, giving you traceable proof of what was done.

Residue-free, no follow-up cleaning

Key property

Residue-free, no follow-up cleaning

The CO₂ pellets sublimate completely into gas, leaving behind neither water nor blasting media. Your surfaces are ready for use again immediately.

Because no abrasion occurs, the method is also suitable for sensitive surfaces, electronics and moulds with fine structures.

FAQ

Questions about dry ice blasting

Everything you need to know about dry ice blasting and its applications.

How does dry ice cleaning work?
Dry ice pellets are propelled onto the surface at high pressure. The pellets sublimate and leave no residues. The method is well suited to sensitive materials.
Which materials can be cleaned?
Metal, plastic, rubber and ceramics can all be cleaned without difficulty. The method is gentle on materials and causes no damage — complex shapes are no problem either.
Is the method environmentally friendly?
Neither chemicals nor water are used. The CO₂ pellets sublimate into gas without residue, making the process exceptionally clean and environmentally sound.
How long does a cleaning job take?
The duration depends on size and degree of contamination. Small parts are often finished within hours; larger equipment takes correspondingly longer.
Does the equipment have to be dismantled?
No — cleaning takes place on site without dismantling. That saves time and money, and your production is back up and running sooner.
